In Greece, as elsewhere, however, scholarly engagement with it remains largely fragmented and operates in academic silos across disciplines, institutions, and research communities. IMRU is a direct response to this gap, bringing together scholars across the social sciences and beyond around a shared commitment to rigorous, evidence-based inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMRU&#8217;s core activities include the organisation of regular interdisciplinary conferences, the publication of peer-reviewed edited volumes through EKKE&#8217;s publishing infrastructure, thematic data briefings on migration in Greece, and a blog series featuring accessible, research-informed writing on migration and refugee issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMRU is governed by a three-member Scientific Committee of EKKE researchers, with strategic guidance provided by an Advisory Board of migration experts.
