The research project MIGHEAL aims to investigate the health disadvantage among the migrant population, as compared to the native-born population, from the perspective of the rising social and income inequalities in Greece, as a result of the prolonged economic crisis. The project also aims to advance the state-of-the-art in research on the migratory phenomenon and to enhance policies related to the integration of migrants in Greek society, in the context of social exclusion and the persistence of ethnic inequalities.
